Current Database

MMUDHEAD currently uses data from Darkwood BBS v1.5.0, a well-maintained MajorMUD server. Support for additional databases is planned.

What is MajorMUD?

MajorMUD is a text-based multi-user dungeon (MUD) game originally released in 1994 by Metropolis Gameport. It was designed to run on Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) and became one of the most popular BBS door games of its era.

Players explore a fantasy world, fight monsters, collect items, and advance their characters through various classes and races. The game features real-time combat, a persistent world, and player-vs-player elements. Despite being over 30 years old, MajorMUD still has active communities running servers today.
